Intersting. I suppose that’s all we look in Tango for, the connection. Which is rare. Kind of a holy grail. The post is intersting. But very personal. I would say the connection while dancing doesn’t have to mean sexual, too. I would say even better without, that can take you up up.
Hi, I agree “the connection” does not have to be sexual. The 3tangos page is about writing fiction inspired by real facts (and this is dance specifically is tied to the start of a bad tango relationship).
I think there are many connections one can achieve when dancing tango, as there are many embraces, and songs… I just tried to describe one connection and the madness of experiencing it for the first time and not knowing exactly what it is, where it comes from and how to reproduce it.
Thank you all for coming to my page and for your thoughts.
Yes, there are many connections one can experience while dancing, but then: the quality and intensity of the experience of those connections also varies greatly.
I see myself on a journey to
explore these connections,
and to experience them, one by one.
But, alas, there’s no way
other than
letting them happen.

Maria, your hints make we want to know more, yet still leave me with understanding.
Connection is just a simple word for a world full of experiences, each one unique and yet familiar. There is more to it than language can express.
